About Me

Where words fail music speaks…Hans Christian Andersen

It is my privilege to share my love of music with your child. Music enriches our lives deeply. Learning to play the piano instills a love of music that is a lifetime gift for a child. It is likely that this love of music will be passed forward to the next generation.

I began to study the piano at age seven and continued at the University level until age 22. I attended college on a piano and voice scholarship and have a Bachelors of Arts degree. On an ongoing basis, I participate in music education events through local colleges and professional organizations.  As a member of the Music Teachers Association of California (MTAC) I participate in the California Certificate of Merit program with students each year.  I am also a member of the Music Teachers’ National Association (MTNA).

I have been providing piano and voice lessons in Aliso Viejo for twenty years.   The primary goal of the studio is to provide a positive environment which promotes the development of musical potential and ability in students while having fun.  It is my desire to make music a life-long passion for your child.
